Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra
2011-2012 Harlan Duenow Young Artist Concerto Competition and Scholarship

Each spring, the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra awards, through a competitive process, a $2,000 cash scholarship to a Cumberland County student. This year, the area of competition has been enlarged to encompass students who live in a county contiguous to Cumberland County (Robeson, Moore, Hoke, Harnett, and Bladen). The scholarship is named in honor of the orchestra’s longest serving conductor, the late Harlan Duenow.
