FAYETTEVILLE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA ANNOUNCES FOUAD FIVE THOUSAND CLUB

The Board of Directors of the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra Association is pleased to announce that our internationally acclaimed Maestro Fakhouri has recently signed a new contract for five more years as the leader of our Orchestra. He is enthused about Fayetteville and his work here, and we are thrilled to have this long term commitment from him. This commitment will give us the continuity to build a truly outstanding community orchestra.

The Board of the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra Association would like to express our appreciation for Fouad�s commitment by matching it with a commitment of our own. We hope to do this by insuring that funding is in place to compensate him appropriately for the duration of his new contract. Fortunately, one of our loyal Patrons has stepped forward and offered a challenge gift of $5,000 per year for five years as a first step toward this goal. He is challenging other members of the community to match his gift with five year pledges of our own, so we can collectively show Maestro Fakhouri that our commitment to him matches his commitment to Fayetteville.

A separate page in each concert program for the duration of this five year period will acknowledge these pledges. Each Fouad Five Thousand Club member will receive an invitation for two to a gourmet dinner with Fouad and his wife Diane. The dinner will be hosted and paid for by members of the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra Association.
