With a first-time performance at Festival Park in Downtown Fayetteville, in conjunction with the annual International Folk Festival, the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra warmed up for the 2007-2008 Season with a strong showing at their FREE PRE-SEASON CONCERT!  Hundreds joined us on the grassy lawn, relaxing under the setting sun while enjoying a unique concert of traditional patriotic favorites, distinctively foreign beats and an emotional performance of “LaFayette” composed by FSO Conductor Fouad Fakhouri.  The concert was well received - whetting the appetites of concert-goers with a taste of what the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra has to offer and energizing the Symphony itself for the great season lying ahead.
