FSO will also present a free pre-concert orientation at the Carolina
Civic Center in Lumberton, NC, Thursday, February 19 – 4:00PM.
Dr.
Valerie A. Austin and an FSO string quartet (Megan
Kenny,violin; Amanda Krauss, violin; Kristen Beard, viola; Jian Ding,
cello)
will briefly discuss and perform excerpts from the works to be
performed at the FSO's “Copland, Mozart and Dvorak” Concerts in
February 2009 .
