
Flutist Linda Lane, originally from the Atlanta area, has found a home teaching and performing in Fayetteville, NC and the surrounding areas. Currently, Linda is a member of the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra, Principal Flutist of the Carolina Philharmonic, and is the Adjunct Flute Professor at Methodist University. Recently, Mrs. Lane became the Personnel Manager and Education Director for Fayetteville Symphony. She is also the Fine and Performing Arts Division Coordinator for Methodist University. She completed an MM in Flute Performance at Louisiana State University in 2006 and a BM with Honors in Music Performance from the University of South Carolina. Linda has studied flute with Dr. Katherine Kemler, Dr. Constance Lane, Mr. Carl Hall, and Mrs. Kelly Bryant. In addition to music, Mrs. Lane loves cooking, movies, and spending time with her family, friends, and pets.
