Flutist Linda Volman Lane, originally from the Atlanta area, has found a home teaching and performing in Fayetteville, NC and the surrounding areas.  Currently, Linda is a member of the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra, Principal Flutist of the Carolina Philharmonic, and has a private studio in the Fayetteville area.  Previously she served as Personnel and Education Manager for the FSO and is currently a Specialist and Cashier for the Methodist University Student Financial Services. She completed an MM in Flute Performance at Louisiana State University in 2006 and a BM with Honors in Music Performance from the University of South Carolina. Linda has studied flute with Dr. Katherine Kemler, Dr. Constance Lane, Mr. Carl Hall, and Mrs. Kelly Bryant. In addition to music, Mrs. Lane loves cooking, movies, and spending time with her family, friends, and pets.
